I was getting really frustrated with a 10 image panorama. There were just a couple of things in the image the just wouldn't line up, some rope and a glass railing. I tried a number of things from redoing the merge; to pulling out some of the images to use either 5 or 7 instead of 10 (this worked to correct one error); trying to make adjustments on the individual layer masks; and even bring opening a duplicate of one of the images and trying to bring in a specific area selected into the panorama. Nothing worked!
Knowing this must be a fairly regular occurrance a quick search on the internet found a very useful tutorial with instruction of ways to fix misaligned panorama images.
